Why your warehouse is still hot, even with more fans.

Why your warehouse is still hot, even with more fans.

Start with the building

A warm warehouse can have several interacting causes: solar heat through the roof, heat from operations, and limited pathways for warm air to leave. Adding fans changes air movement, but does not automatically remove heat.

Measure different zones

Record temperature and relative humidity across working zones and at different operating times. Compare roof exposure, process schedules, intake openings, and exhaust locations. A single temperature reading cannot describe the whole building.

Follow the air

Check where fresh air enters and where air leaves. Short circuits between intake and exhaust can leave occupied zones underserved. Fan selection should follow an understanding of the air path.

Make the next decision with evidence

A Building Performance Assessment connects thermal mapping, airflow observations, and operating conditions. The outcome is a prioritized set of opportunities, not an automatic equipment prescription.

A BETTER BUILDING STARTS WITH A BETTER QUESTION

Numbers are a starting point. A building assessment connects them to how your building actually operates.
